Leyre de Adrian has cultivated a niche in the energy sector, navigating the shift from conventional energy frameworks to sustainable alternatives. Her background is diverse, spanning industrial settings, private equity, and asset management, providing her with a well-rounded perspective in her field.

After dedicating over two decades to Naturgy Energy Group, including a significant tenure leading the LNG trading and marketing team, Mrs. de Adrian transitioned to the financial services sector. She took on the role of Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management, where she became a valued member of the European leadership team, applying her accumulated experience and industry insight.

Currently, Mrs. de Adrian holds a position on the board of Exolum, a key player in liquids logistics within Europe, and participates in its Audit and Sustainability committees. She supports the cleantech sector as a business angel. Her commitment to social responsibility is demonstrated through her collaboration with Fundación Tomillo, a Spanish foundation specialising in education for underprivileged students.

Mrs. de Adrian earned her MSc in Global Finance from Bayes Business School with distinction, and holds both a BBA and MBA from Deusto Business School. Her educational and professional journey reflects her commitment to and involvement in the evolution of the energy sector towards more sustainable practices.
