Who should submit a project or paper

Selected projects will be presented at the Project X-Change amphitheatre, a free-to-attend amphitheatre at the heart of the exhibition floor. All selected projects will be invited to submit collaterals for a poster display alongside the theatre and will be promoted on the GET website.

This is an opportunity to demonstrate the scalability, adaptability and replicability of proven energy transition projects.

If your project is yet to achieve FID, it is an opportunity to present your concept to an audience of potential investors and delivery partners.

Project submissions should be no more than 500 words in length and where possible should contain the following details:

For projects that have achieved FID

  • Project Title
  • Names of organisations involved in the project
  • Project location(s)
  • Industrial sector(s) served by the project
  • Expected environmental impact of the project (e.g.: anticipated emissions reduction; CO₂ eliminated)
  • Anticipated project cost (if figures are publicly available)
  • Anticipated project return (if figures are publicly available)
  • Key technologies used
  • Customer/Offtaker
  • Project timeline

For projects that have yet to achieve FID

  • Project Title
  • Names of organistions involved in the project
  • Project location(s)
  • Industrial sector(s) served by the project
  • Expected environmental impact of the project (e.g.: anticipated emissions reduction; CO₂ eliminated)
  • Anticipated project cost (if figures are publicly available)
  • Anticipated project return (if figures are publicly available)
  • Key technologies used
  • Customer/Offtaker
  • Project timeline
  • Proposed financial model and investment requirements/investor profile
  • Whether technologies proposed for use in the project are already proven

All submissions will be peer reviewed by our cross-industry panel of experts. We will be unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful submissions. Lead presenters will receive full, complimentary access to GET Congress and Exhibition 2024. Co-presenters will be offered passes at a preferential rate. All presenters will be profiled on the event website and other GET marketing and communications channels.
